Open Access and Copyright
RBDC is an "open access journal" because all its content is available free of charge (no cost to authors, readers, and institutions) and freely (no user registration required to read the content). This is in accordance with the philosophy and definition of "open access journals" from DOAJ and the definition of open access from the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
All authors of texts published by RBDC retain copyright over their texts without restrictions and grant RBDC only the exclusive rights of first publication, simply by adhering, during submission, to the Creative Commons license - CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). This license allows authors to freely distribute, remix, adapt, and create another work based on the original work, even for commercial purposes, with the sole condition that due credit is given to the original publication and that any changes are indicated.
Under this license and assignment, RBDC users acquire free (no registration required) and unrestricted access, as soon as publication (without embargo period) and permanently, to the postprint of the work, that is, the version of the scientific text corrected by the author and published in the journal. Furthermore, any RBDC user may read, download, copy, distribute, print, create links to the full texts of articles, track them for indexing, transfer their data to software, or use them for any other legally permitted purpose, without having to request prior permission from the publisher or author, provided that – when pertinent – express reference is made to the original publication or the location (link or DOI) of the original publication.
